Okay, if you have more than 2GB of RAM and are tired tired of out of memory errors try this fix. Sadar advised me of it but I had to do some searching as there are more steps if you run a 32-bit operating system.

That site has detailed descriptions and nice pictures on what you need to do. Note that after you use that fix... you have to start Everquest2.exe directly as every time you patch this will get redownloaded. That said, with the Games folder in Vista my EQ2 icon runs the map, runs my UI patcher, uses the launcher, or starts the game directly... so it's really not an issue.
